Season 1
1. The
Ed-Touchable |
|
It's a
fine summer morning in the cul-de-sac of Peach Creek. Edd is busy labeling everything in his room while Eddy is busy wrecking
it. Imagine the horror when Double-Dee discovers his magnifying glass is missing! The two friends go over Ed's house, where
they find that his sister Sarah is missing her dolly Poo-Poo! Eddy jumps to the obvious conclusion-- someone, or something,
is touching everyone's stuff. The Eds decide to investigate, and come across Jonny 2x4 acting suspicious. They bring
him in for questioning, and find him guilty. But after they give him his punishment, Sarah and Edd find that they only misplaced
their things.

NOTE:
This episode, along with "Nagged Ed", "Pop Goes the Ed", and "Over Your Ed" were restored after they first aired. In the first
airing of these episodes, the music was slightly off-key, and the picture was fuzzy, along with disappearing outlines when
major movement happened.
· This
is the only episode where Edd seems to have a crush on Sarah (at the part when Edd says "someone has touched my stuff also"),
when usually it's the other way around.
· The
character name "Johnny 2x4" is derived from Johnny "2x4" Ludgate, one of the Ed, Edd & Eddy sound editors.
· Double
d seems a little more willing to go along with eddy's plans and he is not like he is in future episodes when he puts an analysis
on everything.
· Eddy
calls Edd 'Ed' instead of 'Double-D' at the beginning of this episode. |
|
2. Nagged
To Ed |
|
Edd is
working on his bug collection, and Ed and Eddy are helping (sort of). Double-Dee decides that it's time for an insect hunt.
The Eds go deep into the woods, where they are attacked. They wake up in a trailer in the Park-n-Flush Trailer Park, and are
greeted by the Kanker sisters-- May, Lee, and Marie. They treat the Eds as guests, keeping them cozy with TV and interesting
sandwiches. The Eds are pretty rude in return, and the Kanker sisters, who had crushes on them, force them to clean up the
trailer. The Eds barely manage to escape, but the Kankers aren't disappointed-- they still love their Eds.

3. Pop
Goes The Ed |
|
It's hot
out, very hot. The Eds, and the rest of the cul-de-sac, are desperate for a way out of the heat. Kevin accidentally tells
the Eds that Nazz is having a sprinkler party. The Eds aren't invited, but they don't care. Eddy decides this is the perfect
time to score some social points. He dresses the Eds in the speedos of the gods, and together they go to be the lives of the
party. No one notices them, though. And in one last attempt to impress everybody, their ultratight swimsuits snap off, and
they are stuck naked in a wading pool. Now they have to sneak home casually, but it's not an easy task.

NOTE:
Cartoon Network says this episode is the first episode of Ed, Edd, n' Eddy. (A New Years special which aired the first episode

|
4. Over
Your Ed |
gs: Matt Hill (Cool Ed) |
The Eds
are setting up a routine scam: their home-blended En-O-Gee Drink, but Ed ruins it, as usual. Edd suggests giving Ed a full
image makeover and Eddy likes the idea. They start by giving Ed a bath. He hadn't had one in ages. Then they dress him up
in clothes only Eddy would own. Double-Dee comes up with a list of super cool phrases for Ed to use. They let him wander in
the cul-de-sac, where Jimmy finds him and shows him to the other kids. They're so impressed by his super cool persona that
Eddy comes up with an even better idea, charging kids money to meet Ed. Just when things are going great for everybody, the
Kanker sisters show up and ruin everything.

5. A Pinch
To Grow An Ed |
|
After
Eddy grows extremely angry with being short, Double D and Ed fix the problem with a pair of elevating shoes. He uses them
to show off and then the Kankers break them, dropping Eddy into a crib dressed as a baby. Ed and Double D walk off referring
to him as a baby while pushing him around.

Ed-a-Lot |

Edd and
Eddy are up for a ripe day of scamming, but Ed's stuck babysitting his little sister Sarah. Eddy is mad until he finds out
that Ed's getting paid for it. Suddenly, the outlook for the day looks pretty good. Sarah turns out to be a menace, though,
and she and her friend Jimmy are bossing the Eds around, forcing them to treat her as the queen. When Eddy refuses to help
out, she puts him in a cage and only lets him out to be her jester. The day ends with Ed's house a mess, and a very unhappy
Sarah. Now the Eds will never get paid, unless they can trick Ed's parents into thinking the house is clean...

comes up with a great idea to make cash, go on a photo safari, taking pictures of the cul-de-sac kids, then make a calendar
and sell it to them. They go on a photo safari, taking pictures of everyone. Their safari soon leads them to the Park-n-Flush
trailer park, where Eddy tries to sneak a picture of the Kankers. The Kankers spot the Eds, though and give them a little
"makeover."

All About Ed |
|
Edd's
got a paper route, saving up for an expensive electron microscope. Eddy finds out, and comes up with a new plan, the Eds will
take up 50 paper routes at once and they'll be rolling in cash. Double-Dee doesn't like the idea all that much. When he wakes
up the next morning to find his house covered in undelivered papers. The Eds try different ways to deliver the hundreds of
papers and Edd's latest invention works great. Ed, of course, manages to jam it up and the Eds are stuck with a huge mess
of papers. Things couldn't get worse, until it starts to rain.

9. An Ed
Too Many |
|
The Eds
are searching for a four-leaf clover, but aren't having any luck. Ed comes across a very rare flower, though, which Edd is
very careful with. The Eds decide they're hungry and go off to make a pizza (and a big mess). On the way, they encounter Sarah
and Jimmy. Double-Dee hands the flower to Sarah so that it doesn't get damaged. Sarah takes this to mean more than that, though,
and immediately falls in love with him. As the Eds go to make their pizza, Sarah shows up and starts creeping out Edd. Ed
and Eddy try to keep her away, but she follows Double-Dee everywhere. Eventually, they realize that the answer is to get Jimmy
and Sarah back together.

|
|
10. Ed-n-Seek |
|
The Eds
are couch-diving, searching for change and other assorted things, when Jonny shows up and starts looking around. The Eds go
out to see what's up, and find that the cul-de-sac kids are playing hide-and-seek. The Eds want to play, but Sarah (who is
It) doesn't let them. They gather up all the kids to ruin Sarah's turn, and then the kids decide to let them play-- but one
catch: They have to be It. They don't mind, though, and decide to play their own way. They keep a careful eye on Home Base,
and use one of Edd's inventions to find everyone. They round up everyone, except Jimmy-- who Ed manages to tag at the last
second. Now Jimmy's It and they get to hide, which they do well. They manage to get to Home Base... but pummeled a little
along the way.

11. Look
Into My Eds |
|
Edd receives
a psychology manual in the mail, and inside is a hypnotizing wheel. Eddy jumps on the opportunity, and makes Ed think he's
a ballerina. He decides that he can control the whole cul-de-sac with it, and starts by turning Sarah into a frog, Jimmy into
a muscleman, and Kevin into a monkey. Ed decides it's his turn and turns Rolf into all sorts of devastating B-movie creeps.
The Eds set up a projection screen in the cul-de-sac, and broadcast Eddy's hypnotic power to everyone. Everything's great
until, as usual, the Kankers show up. They steal the hypno-wheel, and turn the Eds into dogs.

12. Tag
Yer Ed |
|
Edd is
getting made fun of for how weak he is. Eddy decides to toughen him up. Ed and Eddy put Double-Dee through a training program,
but he proves he's just not muscleman material. Eddy comes up with a better idea-- wrestling. He gives Edd a weird costume,
and dubs him The Masked Mumbler. His first competition is Plank, but the hunk of wood proves to be tough competition. Double-Dee
manages to defeat Plank. Eddy decides to ring in the cul-de-sac kids for the next round-- against the Kanker Sisters. Of course,
the Eds are no match for the Kankers in any sport.
|
b:
08-Feb-1999
|
NOTE:
The Masked Mumbler(played by Double D and potrayed by Eddy)is obviously made by Danny Atonucci to just poke at the Lucha Libre
market of pro-wrestling and masked wrestlers such as Tiger Mask, Psychosis, Rey Mysterio Junior and The Blue Blazer(played
by Jeff Jarrett and the late great Owen Hart)
· This
episode aired on the same day WCW was in Buffalo, New
York for Monday Nitro.
· When
Eddy and Lee Kanker are going for the finsh, Lee spears Eddy. The spear she used was a move used by WWE Superstar, Edge. Lee
does the same technque like Edge.
· The
"Masked Mumbler" stall appears later on in "It Came From Outer Ed".
· We
know the Eds and Kankers are into wrestling. Not Double D, though.
· There
is now a game on cartoon network .com based on this episode. |

13. Dawn
Of The Eds |
|
Ed's dying
to see the newest sci-fi reject flick-- Robot Rebel Ranch. But-- of all the horror-- it's R-rated, and the Eds won't be able
to get in! They immediately begin scamming to sneak in, but on the way to turn in some recyclables for ticket money, they
get lost and wind up way beyond the construction site and the factory, in the worst place to get lost-- the junk yard. Stuck
without a movie, the Eds begin to play it out themselves. Soon, they're starting to believe they're really there, and begin
to waste away on the "cold planet's" surface. Edd and Eddy get a reality check when Sarah and Jimmy show up, and decide to
go home for dinner. But Ed just can't be snapped out of a good sci-fi delusion...
|
b:
15-Feb-1999
|
NOTE:
The title refers to Dawn of the Dead, the classic 1978 movie that probably best represents Ed's taste in movies.
· This
was the first episode where we see the van that the Eds use in later episodes, this was aired before they were.
· This
episode can be seen on the "Cartoon Network Halloween" DVD. |
|
14. Vert-Ed-Go |
|
The Eds
are beat after a bird steals their hard-earned quarterr, when they spot a passing plane with an ad for Joe's Clubhouse. They
come up with the obvious scam-- start a hip club themselves, and charge for membership. They go through some difficulty setting
up the clubhouse, but even harder is getting members. The cul-de-sac kids don't even believe they HAVE a clubhouse, and the
Eds go to prove them wrong. They go back to their club site to find Club Ed transformed into Club Kanker. The Eds wage a water
balloon fight against the Kankers, and the Kankers come out on top.
|
b:
15-Feb-1999
|
NOTE:
The clubhouse will appear again in "The Day the Ed Stood Still".
· Not
only does "Club Kanker" appear in "The Day The Ed Stood Still", but that's its final episode, because it falls off the tree
and shatters to pieces.
· Main
Scams: Convince people to pay to be in the Ed's club house
· This
is the third time everyone wants to pay for the Ed's scam.
· In
"Robbin' Ed" Eddy mentions the same bird that took his quarter in this episode. |
|
15. Keeping
With The Eds |
|
What's
with Edd's kitchen?! It's covered in sticky notes! Double-Dee's parents make him do boatloads of chores, and communicate them
through sticky notes. Edd doesn't seem to mind, except for one thing-- his father wants him to mow the lawn! Ed and Eddy decide
to help, but the only mower Double-Dee has is an old-fashioned push mower. Eddy convinces Ed to attack Edd's lawn with the
mower, and he ends up completely ruining the yard. Eddy knows what to do, though-- he brings in a humongous sack of fertilizer
and regrows the yard. But then he gets an even better idea-- he'll cover everyone's yard in fertilizer, and mow it for money!
But when Jimmy and Sarah get lost in the five-foot-high grass, the Eds resort to drastic measures, and borrow Rolf's goat,
Victor. Victor eats all the grass in the cul-de-sac, and grows enormous, like a blimp. The Eds ride him back to Rolf's house
to return him, but can't possibly steer him...
|
b:
22-Feb-1999
|
NOTE:
Main Scams: Make people's grass grow immensily and mow it
· The
title of the episode is a reference to "Keeping Up with the Kids," which is a song by Mindless Self Indulgence. This could
also explain that crazy fad the Eds made (on accident). |
|
16. Who,
What, Where Ed |
|
The Eds
aren't interested in scams today, all they want is some Eddy-style omelettes! Ed manages to break every egg in the house,
however, and the Eds are stuck without any omelettes. They decide to go to Rolf's to see if he can loan them a chicken; then
they'll be knee-deep in eggs! But Rolf isn't going to give a chicken egg up that easily, he tells them that he'll trade it
for sawdust. Confused, the Eds ask Kevin for some sawdust. He'll trade it for painting his shed. But there's no paint. They
go to Jimmy's, where he is painting a masterpiece. He won't give up his paint unless they trade for it-- he wants clams. Jonny
2x4 and Plank are clam-diving in the sewer and they want to trade for an anchor, but the only anchor in the cul-de-sac belongs
to the Kankers. Forget that. Plank "says" he'll trade some clams for a racket. Sarah, playing tennis with Nazz, says she'll
trade for a giant teddy bear. Jimmy owns a teddy bear, and will trade it for plums. Back at Rolf's, he is confused as to whether
they want eggs or plums, and refuses to give any up. The Eds try to trade anything for some plums, and Rolf is mesmerized
by Ed's yo-yo. He hands over some plums, which they trade to Jimmy for the teddy bear, then to Sarah, then Plank, then Jimmy
again, then they paint Kevin's shed and return to Rolf with a bucket of sawdust. He gives them an egg which they can hatch
into their own chicken, which Ed promptly breaks.

17. Fool
On The Ed |
|
Eddy's
the master of pranks. Ed's and Edd's attempts to prank him are futile. The Eds come across a card labeled "PRANK MASTER",
and Eddy is mad that someone would try to take his place. The Eds go to investigate, and they find everyone in the cul-de-sac
suffering horrible pranks, marked by the "PRANK MASTER" card. They're terrified, knowing that they'll be next. They cautiously
make their way around the cul-de-sac, avoiding anything suspicious. The joke's on them when they find out that there is no
"PRANK MASTER", it was just the cul-de-sac kids getting back at them. Not to be overpranked, the Eds set up a monstrous stinkbomb,
but have some trouble getting it out of their garage before it pops...

NOTE:
This is the first appearance of the "Elmongo Stinkbomb".

|
18. A Boy
And His Ed |
|
Kevin
encounters the Eds' latest scam, and isn't impressed. He tells them he wants to give them something, but Eddy doesn't believe
him and sends him away. The Eds go into the cul-de-sac to find everyone eating Jawbreakers. Rolf tells them that Kevin's dad
got a job at the Jawbreaker factory, and he got a whole garage of free Jawbreakers! The Eds decide to become Kevin's best
friends, hoping they'll get in on the candy. But they end up being more of a hassle to Kevin, as they destroy his house and
get in the way everywhere.
|
b:
01-Mar-1999
|
NOTE:
The Eds charge FIFTY cents instead of twenty-five in the episode.
· "A
Boy and His Ed" is a parody title to "A Boy and His Dog".
· Main Scam: The Edd's launch their toll bridge.
· This
episode is kind of similar to the scene from the 1976 Mel Brooks movie, "Silent Movie", where the three guys go to a famous
actor's house to try to talk him into starring in a movie; there's even a part where they try to tunnel their way into the
house and end up in his bathtub! |
|
19. Laugh,
Ed, Laugh |
|
The Eds
come up with a great scam, but all the cul-de-sac kids are missing! They go to investigate, and find that an epidemic of chicken
pox has hit the neighborhood, and they're the only ones that aren't sick. The Eds realize that there's nothing to do if they
can't scam anyone. Eddy starts to lose it, and goes insane. Ed and Edd have to track him down and capture him. Eddy starts
scamming squirrels, and eats a fire hydrant, thinking it's a jawbreaker. Double-Dee sets up a padded cell, and Ed helps capture
Eddy inside. Edd tells Ed to hide the key to the cell, but they accidentally lock themselves inside, and once Eddy goes back
to normal, they're all stuck in the cell.

20. It’s
Way Ed |
|
It's a
new day in the cul-de-sac, and the Eds head down to the lane to see what's up. They find all the kids walking around on stilts.
They tell the Eds that it's the latest fad. The Eds go home to make makeshift stilts, and return to find the cul-de-sac kids
wearing hats with tetherballs, Wizz-Wazzing. The Eds rush home to get in on that fad, but by the time they get back, Wizz-Wazzing
is way out of style. The Eds keep trying to get in style, but they give up-- what's the use? They're always behind. Eddy realizes
that the only way to catch up is to be two fads ahead of everyone else. They rummage through Edd's garage and come up with
the most ridiculous costumes they can come up with, and when they return to the cul-de-sac, deeming themselves Fad Freaky,
no one notices them. The outfits get uncomfortable, and start to trip the Eds up. The Eds give up the fad, but at that moment,
everyone in the cul-de-sac starts wearing their Fad Freaky costumes.

NOTE:
A basic "Fad Freaky" costume bears quite a resemblance to the Looney Tunes character Marvin the Martian.

21. Eds-Aggerate |
|
After
a scam goes horribly wrong and ends up sending an armchair into Kevin's house, Eddy makes up a quick lie, telling Kevin the
"Mucky Boys" did it. He convinces Kevin into believing it, and soon the whole cul-de-sac is searching for the Mucky Boys.
Eddy loves it, and convinces his fellow Eds to play along. They go into the junkyard, and cover themselves in mud. They leave
clues and creep the kids into believing the Mucky Boys are nearby. They lead the kids into a cave, where Sarah realizes what's
going on, and exposes the Eds. The kids trap the Eds in a block of cement as punishment. Jonny 2x4 helps free them.

NOTE:
Jimmy, Sarah, Kevin, and Rolf appear in this as safari hunters. Johnny only appears near the end. Nazz also appears near the
end, but only laughs at the Eds. Rolf said in the tunnel that his dad once walked 100 miles with a mule, a shoe, and 2 goats
on his back! Is his dad strong?

The Eds
all have new clothes, but they're still stiff from the store. Ed and Eddy try to get them comfortable, but end up ruining
them. The Eds find Rolf, Jimmy, Jonny, and Plank wearing spiffy scout uniforms. Rolf tells them about the Urban Rangers, and
that they can get their own uniforms if they can get a badge. Piece of cake, or so they think. The Eds all (well, mostly Ed)
manage to fail every task, not getting a single badge. They keep begging Rolf for more chances, but Rolf gets annoyed, confiscates
their bandanas, and forces them to walk the Lard Walk of Shame.

23. A Glass
Of Warm Ed |
|
Edd wakes
up from a peaceful sleep to noises below him. He realizes there's an intruder in the house, grabs his cactus Jim, and goes
downstairs. Nervously, he approaches a figure rummaging through his fridge, and realizes it's just Ed. But something's wrong,
Ed's sleepwalking. Ed grabs all the food from Double-Dee's fridge and leaves. Edd heads over to Eddy's house to warn him.
Edd and Eddy follow Ed as he steals all the food in the cul-de-sac, and manage to lure him back into his room. They tie him
to his bed, but he still manages to escape and continues his sleepy gorging. The next morning, the cul-de-sac kids are without
breakfast. Eddy comes up with a great idea, and sells the food from within Ed's belly, much to Double-Dee's disgust.

is allergic to rabbits, which explains why "Mr. and Mrs. Bunny" duplicated. Edd and Eddy try to cure him using lotion, talcum
powder, and ice. Edd then devises an allergy protection center for Ed. When they get back to the garage, THER'RE OVER 1,000,000

Ed accidentally
puts a hole in Edd's screen door, letting all the bugs in. A fly gets caught in Eddy's throat when he attempts to swat it,
and he finds he lost his voice. Ed and Edd try to help, and Edd fits a bell around Eddy's next so he can communicate. Rolf
is impressed, and claims he can translate bell-speak since he owns a cow. His translations are way off, but Ed and Edd don't
notice, and trust his word. Rolf interprets Eddy ringing his bell to mean that he wants a go on the Unicycle of Doom, and
later to wrestle a chicken. Eventually, Eddy gets stuck in a tree, and in an attempt to get lose, dislodges the fly from his
throat.

NOTE:
There's a Looney Tunes reference in this episode: when Eddy lifts the cape and the chicken hits (or, rather, gets stuck to)
Plank. In one Looney Tunes episode, Bugs ends up in a bullfight arena in Spain.
During one of the bull's charges, Bugs lifts the cape, and the bull runs into an anvil.

26. Avast
Ye Eds |
|
The Eds
set up a tire swing (actually, an inner tube) as their latest plan, but Ed breaks it off its tether, and it lands in Peach
Creek. This gives Eddy a better idea-- creek cruises. First in line for the cruises is Jimmy, Jonny 2x4, and Plank. They set
off down the creek, and generally have a good time. Edd provides some great beach tunes (which he despises), and Ed works
as a lookout. Eddy doesn't do much of anything, as per usual. All is going well until Ed spots a ship in the distance, which
upon closer inspection turns out to be a pirate ship piloted by the Kanker Sisters. The Eds try to outspeed them, but the
Kankers are too skillful, and pop the inner tube.

The
Eds' latest scam, a miniature golf course, is of course ruined by Ed. As Edd goes off to fix it, Ed asks Eddy why Double-Dee
is so smart. Eddy decides to have some fum with him, and tells him that Edd is not human. Ed, being the sci-fi freak he is,
falls for it and starts questing out to see Double-Dee do something inhuman. Eddy tells him that Edd is The Lizard Boy, a
scientific experiment gone horribly wrong who has been experimenting on the cul-de-sac kids, changing them into insects. Ed
is horrified, and avoids Double-Dee at all costs. The Eds get invited to a BBQ at Nazz's place, and Ed thinks it's a ceremony.

Eddy running around naked often is a reference that they could be in the 70's. In 1974, streaking, or running around
in public places naked, was all the rage. Eddy probably wanted to stay cool. A nominee in the '74 Oscars streaked, and a fan
streaked afetr Hank Aaron hit his 715th home run, proving that the Eds could live in the 70's. |

Eds go off to the lane one morning to find Kevin showing off in front of the other kids on his stunt bike, easily breaking
every record in the book. Eddy's unimpressed, and decides to show off his own skills. The Eds end up constructing a massive
stunt ramp, and fail miserably at riding it. Eddy knows he's not going to beat Kevin at what he's good at, and decides to
break his own records. Eddy returns to the park and tells the kids that the Eds just broke a record for flying around the
world. The kids don't believe him, and go off to see. Eddy gives them a ride in his "rocket car", and manages to convince
them that they're riding around the world. Kevin realizes it's all a sham, and ruins it.

Ed can't
sleep so he goes to Eddy's house and starts irritating Eddy all night. The next morning they go to Edd's house to find he's
taking apart an old radio which somehow leads Eddy to think if knowledge is power then it's also money. The Eds start to take
everything they can get their hands on apart. Then, after they take his chicken coop apart, Rolf tells the Eds one of his
crazy tales. Now the boys don't want to stick around for the story so they narrowly escape into an alternate cul-de-sac, where
they find that physics no longer apply, and they have fun wrecking their cartoon universe-- until they realize it was just

to spread all over his body, and they need money for the operation. They don't quite keep the other kids' attention, as everything

just what to do-- they'll yank the tooth out and get a well-needed load of cash from the tooth fairy. Ed and Double-Dee don't
like the idea of pulling the tooth out, but Eddy won't be convinced otherwise. He cons the other kids into helping him out,
and the whole cul-de-sac begins to try to get Ed's tooth out. A series of unfortunate accidents causes Eddy's tooth to fall
out, whereupon it lands in the gutter. Ed inadvertantly eats it.

to know exactly what all his customers want, which makes Eddy furious (and Edd slightly jealous). Eddy decides he must have
inside information, and the Eds go off to investigate. Double-Dee shows them a variety of James Bond-esque spy gadgets, and
together they go to where all the other kids are congregating-- Jimmy's house. They sneak into the meeting, and start rummaging
through packages, when Edd realizes that they've made a terrible mistake-- it's just Jimmy's birthday party. The kids are
all mad at the Eds, but Eddy thinks quickly and uses a baking soda smokescreen to elude them. It wasn't properly tested, though,
and winds up flooding Jimmy's house with white powder. The kids are not happy.

Edd realizes it's an imaginary friend. They play along, and start their scam up again: an enormous prize-grabber machine.
Double-Dee and Eddy realize Ed's serious, though, when "Jib" tells the other kids that it's a scam. Edd and Eddy decide that
Jib's going to keep getting in the way unless they do something. They go to Jonny 2x4 for help, and he tells them to build
an invisible trap. Jib ends up beating the tar out of Eddy somehow, but he manages to trap him. Edd and Eddy tell Ed that

so it seems. The Eds end up getting trapped inside the house, and fall victim to an elaborate series of traps. They all wind
up on a train ride to a far corner of the house, where they meet up with the Kankers. The Kankers had prepared a wedding ceremony,

Ed |

Exhausted
to the marrow, Edd finally finishes building his latest opus - a fort made from toothpicks - sometime w-a-y past bedtime and
it puts his body clock into a severe state of rebellion. Morning comes and Ed n Eddy arrive with fantastic plans to build
"Ed's Sea Ranch" but they can't get any enthusiasm - let alone wake Double-Dee. But without Edd of course their plan's a complete
non-starter, so after trying to keep him alert by taping his eyes open and dragging him through the creek they simply dump
his semi-comatose body over a boulder and improvise. The resulting mess blocks the creek but nobody notices. Back at Ed's
place, Double-Dee is almost tempted into snuggling down in that bed - but not quite, so while Ed n Eddy are busy he slinks
off to Sarah's instead. From here on in everybody wants a piece of Edd, be it for his body or his mind and still half asleep
he finds himself being pulled in every direction and only saved when the long forgotten creek finally decides to unblock itself
all over the cul-de-sac. Kids are marooned, Eddy & Edd are trawled from the depths by Jonny - it's a disaster! And Ed?
He's just having a whale of a time.

in the big city, and the Eds make a jarload of money. Jonny is still angry, as Plank too falls into the trap of rude drivers
and no speed limit. In the end, Jonny snaps and steals Eddy's money, threatening to drop it from the highest tower if Plank

Eddy stumbles upon Edd's failed inventions. Again, ignoring Edd, Eddy finds himself helpless to one of the older ones, messing
up his face. Edd finds this funny, sending Eddy chasing him to Ed's house. Guardsmen Jimmy and Sarah stand in front of Ed's
window, informing Eddy and Edd on how Ed's been grounded. Distractions involving Jonny, give Edd and Eddy time to sneak Ed
out of the house. Of course, they get caught, and all three of the Ed's are grounded.

Rolf offers to help the beleagured Eddy by putting him through one of Rolf's old family remedies. While Rolf's complicated,

Kanker sisters. They run out only to be caught by the kids, tied up, and pelted with vegetables. After noticing something

·
Funny fact: When Edd tells Rolf to hit Ed with the marshmallows, Rolf seems confused. Edd says "Marshmellows" (pronunciation)
when Rolf reads the bag "Marshmallows" and says "Marsh Mallows?" Rolf then squeezes and eats the marshmallow still trying
to figure out what it is. It could be that he's thinking of the swamp plant: Mallow or Malva. It's a plant that grows in the
swamps or marshes in Europe and North America and grow white or pink flowers. Also, the origional
marshmallow was made from the mallow plant itself. They named it a "Marsh-Mallow" since the ingredience for the marshmallow
came from the plant that grew in the "marshes". So, Rolf was supposedly thinking of the plant and not the puffy confection.

83. One
Size Fits Ed |
|
Edd's
fake wishing well is a suprising sucess, much to the consternation of Eddy (who prides himself on being the master of scams).
Suddenly, Ed shows up (wearing nothing but white boxer shorts and his jacket, tied into a loincloth) and announces he's a
sumo wrestler, with a tendency to demonstrate his skills on anyone and anything present. This gives Eddy the bright idea to
turn Jimmy (who's wish is to be famous) into a star... a sumo-wrestling star, that is! While Jimmy is initially reluctant,
the allure of fame is too great for the frail youth. After a copious diet of peaches 'n' cream, Jimmy (or rather, Imafatso
Jimbo, as Eddy dubs him) is livin' large, and ready for his first bout against Yokozuna Ed. Much to the suprise of everyone,
Jimmy (who's outgrown his legs a bit) trounces Ed, and is all set to go to Japan
and get famous. Of course, the Eds have some severe difficulties getting Jimmy to Japan. After mailing him there doesn't work (and Edd points out the prohibitively
high cost of postage), a botched attempt at sending Jimmy by catapult ends with Ed and Eddy in traction, and Jimmy on a strict
weight-loss regiment, thanks to Sara.

in the Ed |
|
Eddy
is trying to impress the cul-de-sac kids with artificial "armpit hair", commandeered from some old carpetting, but the kids
aren't buying it. Ed appears suddenly, carting a violin and a music stand. Seems Ed's mom wants him to take up a musical instrument,
but the caterwauling Ed produces is hardly musical. Arts-enthusiast Edd seems to like it, but he admits to Eddy (in private)
that he was only trying to give Ed encouragement to practice and, hopefully, get better. But Eddy can't stand the racket,
and tries several times to destroy Ed's violin. But with Jimmy keeping an eye on them under Sara's orders, Eddy can't find
the chance. A little scheming on the part of Eddy and Edd almost smashes Ed's violin via a convoluted Rube-Goldberg machine,
but Edd backs out and sabotages the scheme at the last minute. In his efforts to protect Ed's violin from the wrath of Eddy,
Edd accidentally breaks it, and he, Ed and Eddy get the snot beat out of them by Sara. Ed eventually resorts to using Eddy's
hair as a makeshift violin in order to continue his practice.

of the maze). Edd's science project is then interrupted by Eddy, who has a simple but elegant plan to make sure him and his
buddies move up in the world. They start their own company (in Eddy's driveway), EdCo, with Nazz as Eddy's receptionist, Johnny
and Plank working in the mail room, Rolf as the security guard, Jimmy doing the "interior" designs for Eddy's "office", and
Ed busying himself with modifying Edd's cardboard elevator. Then Kevin shows up and tries to chat it up with Nazz, but Eddy
insists that Kevin leaves, and that his employees get back to work, complaining "What do I pay you guys for?" Unfortunately
for Eddy, his employees realize he's *not* paying them, and they all leave in a huff. It looks to be all downhill from there,

After
"Superplank" saves Jimmy from the Kanker Sisters (and a creepy catterpillar), Jimmy and Johnny celebrate, declaring Plank
to be "King of the Cul-de-Sac". Eddy overhears, and naturally his ego leads to him demanding to be King, and that it be put
to a vote. Edd thinks a chance to practice democracy would be a great idea, so soon Candidate Eddy is stumping for votes,
with limited success. When he has trouble reading the speech Edd wrote for him, and fails to win everyone over with his outrageous
promises, he resorts to scandal by discovering an incriminating photo of Plank and showing it off at the polls. But even then,
Eddy only gets one vote, from himself (Edd voted for Plank, and Ed got confused and put a half-eaten cookie in the ballot
box), and Plank becomes the King of the Cul-De-Sac.

Ed, Dueling Eds, Rent-A-Ed, any episodes where Eddy chased Ed (such as "Who Let the Ed In?" and "Pain in the Ed").
·
The first two items Edd puts in the time capsule are the labeller and the skull, both of which appeared in the first
scene of the very first episode, The Ed-Touchables. Also, nearly every item seen in the boxes and bags can be traced back
to an actual episode. Example: The microphone Eddy sang into at the end of Boys Will Be Eds can be seen in the bags as Ed
is digging through them.
·
Response to first note: actually, none of the clips shown are from previous episodes. This is probably why none of
the Eds can remember each other's clips.
·
Ed said that the canadian squirtguns were only second season. It's funny because they first appeared in Know It All
Ed which was an episode in series 2! |

While
the Ed's are busy making sculptures of the Kids Kevin finds a wallot laying on the ground. Eddy comes to see if their is any
cash in it but unfortunaly for Eddy it is empty, but Kevin stumbles into something more intresting in the wallot. It happens
to be Eddy's wallot because his ID is in it. Eddy now Knows that Kevin Knows his middle name and begs for him not to tell,
and that he'll do anything for him." Kevin is intrested in this deal and tell Eddy to buy him a soda. Later Eddy grabs Ed
and Edd into his room and tells them to play "Tic Tac Toe." Eddy leaves Ed and Eddy, and Kevin forces him to dress like Jimmy,
kiss Edd,and act like a seal, and Kevin even squirts water from his squirt gun on Eddy's pants to make it look like he wet
his pants. Ed and Edd ask Eddy why he is letting Kevin humiliate himself. When Eddy goes back to Kevin, it seems that Kevin
decided to tell everyone his middle name anyway ,and everyone makes fun of him. Edd decides to his own middle name to Eddy,
but Eddy decides to tell Edd's middle name to the kids, and now everyone is insulting him now instead.

Eddy's
greatest scam yet ("Triple E" Frog Races, complete with frog rentals) hits a snag when Ed and Edd are too busy fighting about
Ed's unwashed jacket (not to mention Ed's lucky cheese chunk, Sheldon) to help catch frogs. In between frog-hunting and Edd
waxing melodramatic about Sheldon's unpleasant smell, Eddy and Edd try to get rid of the offending dairy product. They finally
succeed, but once Ed's over the loss of Sheldon, he resorts to his "more than lucky" fish-head, Angus, and he and Edd start
fighting again.

The
Eds find Rolf performing some odd ritual that involves burying an old-fashioned telephone. Eddy is quite impressed with the
device (which Rolf seems deathly afraid of), and while Rolf is distracted, Eddy digs up the phone and claims it for himself.
But Eddy finds that every time he or anyone else answers the phone (which rings even before it's hooked up), something painful
happens to him. Despite Edd's skepticism, Eddy tries to get rid of the phone. Even after he gives it away to Johnny and Plank,
though, Eddy's still the one who suffers every time the phone is answered.

This episode is probably a reference to the James Dean Porsche. Eddy kept getting hurt when someone answered the phone,

|
Eddy's
latest scam is a roaring success... due to the fact that the multi-purpose "Thing-a-ma-jigs" he sold the other kids are really
boxes full of junk. But before Eddy can spend his ill-gotten gains, the masked super-hero Captain Melonhead (really a thinly-disguised
Johnny, with Plank as his sidekick "Splinter the Wood Wonder") clobbers Eddy and returns the money to the victims of his scam.
Outraged, Eddy plots revenge by luring Melonhead and Splinter into an ambush, where he assumes the identity of supervillain
"Professor Scam" and squares off against Melonhead in an epic battle. Proffesor Scam eventually gets Melonhead to surrender
by holding Splinter hostage, and is about to lower the duo into Ed's gravy collection. Fortunately for Johnny and Plank, Ed
'reveals' himself to be "Average Joe", and liberates both his gravy and the two superheroes, who soundly defeat Dr. Scam and
send him off to lick his wounds.

NOTE:
From Eddy's comment before he's pummeled by Melonhead( A bird? Did it have a quarter in it's mouth? Because if it did, I'll--*pummel'd*),
we see a nice continuation through episodes, since he's obviously been haggared by the seagull in "Vert-Ed-go".

The
Kankers are awakened by a prowler, who leaves before they can give him a thrashing. But they're REALLY punchy when they find
their beloved family heirloom (a ship in a bottle) is missing. Meanwhile, Edd and Eddy find that Ed was sleepwalking again
last night, and also that he has said ship-in-a-bottle stuck to his finger. As they try to get the bottle off, they remain
blissfully unaware that the Kankers are terrorizing the neighborhood looking for that very same bottle, up until the Kankers
come knocking on Edd's door looking for them. Fortunately, while the Eds cower beneath the sink, the Kankers just flush them
out, remove the bottle, and leave. Unfortunately, Eddy's now got his finger stuck in the faucet of Edd's kitchen sink.

NOTE:
This could possibly be the Kankers last episode, and if it is not their last episode will be "Take this Ed and Shove it"

Eddy's
finally got suckers for one of his scams (a bubble-wrap popping stand), but due to Ed and Edd's horseplay, they're all out
of bubble wrap. They try to get some more from Ed's house, but when they try to get in through the back, Sarah throws them
out of the backyard, claiming that it's now Jimmy and her's members-only "Rich Club". Eddy, insulted by the insinuation that
he's not worthy to be a member of the Rich Club, plans to get in with a few faux displays of wealthy opulence (like a cardboard
yacht). But Jimmy and Sarah aren't buying it, and to spite Eddy further they let all the other cul-de-sac kids into the club
except the Eds. After "Eddy McRich" and his friends embarass themselves a few more times, Sarah finally lets them in... though
Eddy is too giddy with glee to be in the club to realize he and his friends are in as waiters, and not members.

feeling downhearted after some playing in the sandbox turns into a dreadful row between Johnny and Sarah. Fortunately, Eddy
and his pals are there to cheer him up with their "Smileyville" amusement park... unfortunately, it's a scam as usual, which
makes Jimmy feel worse. Suddenly, Rolf comes along celebrating the day of his family's "Guardian Pigeon", and after hearing
Jimmy's tale of woe, offers to help him get even with Eddy. Together, the duo manage to con Eddy into trading all his worldly
possesions for a seed to a "money tree", both tree and seed turning out to be fakes. Eddy tries to get his stuff back by turning
the tables on Jimmy and Rolf with a "meat bush", then by taking his stuff by force, only to fall victim to the same trick
twice when Rolf offers him the "real" money tree seed.

Kevin
sells his whole garage-full of jawbreakers to everyone in the cul-de-sac. The Ed's come, but they realize that everyone else
took all of them. Kevin now has loads of cash, and the Eds will need to scam him to get it. But one problem, Eddy can't think
of a scam. So they get scams from the other kids. Jonny's "penny dance" barely got Eddy's attention and he kicked him out.
He lands on a teeter totter Jimmy and Sarah are playing on, sending Jimmy flying sky-high and to the Eds. Jimmy then comes
up with a brilliant scam. The Eds set up the scam, with Edd doing all of the work. The scam: huge ice pops. Eddy thinks it
stupid and asks Ed to knock some sense into him, literally. The scam: Find out your hat size. But Kevin spent all of his cash
on Jimmy's ice pops.

Character Descriptions: Old Ed: The same old Ed except with a white long beard, a white long monobrow, and a kidney
problem, so he goes to the bathroom whenever he wants. Old Edd: Still as smart as ever, though sometimes forgetful. Old
Sarah: Although she's old, she still has a bad attitude and a sharp tongue just as she used to. Old Jimmy: Jimmy normally
knits bedpan for Sarah, and he still has his retainer, though he doesn't mind. Old Rolf: Taking after his one-eyed Nana,
he has a white beard as big as a a hay bale, and one eyeball. He also has a lot of mood swings. Old Kevin: Since he had
to give away his bike to get a motorized scooter, he hasn't been the same. He still only has one beard hair, but still calls
the Eds dorks. Old Nazz: A very forgetful old lady, she still has her old slang, and her friends are the birds. Also on
a regular basis, she forgets her pants, so she wears a kilt. Old Jonny: With a glass eye and a drudgery eye, he is also
forgetful and keeps on saying the same thing.

·
This is the 1st hour long episode (according to http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/specials/2004_holiday/index.html),
2nd Christmas episode, 1st time an episode hasn't taken place in Summer, 1st time a title hasn't been a direct reference,
and, to top it all off, the first episode to be completely brightly colored (like the theme song and the comic book scene
in Little Ed Blue) . I'm led to believe it's bright color b/c of the commercial on CN, the screenshot on Toonzone, and this
clip: http://aolsvc.cartoonnetwork.kol.aol.com/clips/fridays.html (although it's more Jpeg-y and it ruins the colors)
·
Nazz sounds older than she was in the previous episodes. Listen when she says "You know what happens when someone catches

·
The Kankers journey from the trailer park to the shed with gifts is a paradoy of the journey of the 3 wise men. Gold-Mold

·
This is the second time Ed, Edd, n' Eddy is shown with Christmas references.
·
In Johnny's family it is a tradition to take the winter inside... literally
·
It's actually only a half hour
·
Judging by Eddy reading a "letter from Santa" off his F assignment, you can infer that they have been going to school
and are on Christmas vacation.
·
This is the first episode that features the Eds in a different season other than summer.
·
In Rolf's family, meat appears to be a big theme at christmas time.
·
The episode ran longer the second time it was shown in the US
because the friday people did A christmas Carol skit.
·
Kevin snowboards during the Winter.
·
This is the second time that we see Lee's eyes. When she puts her head at the window to see the star, you see her eyes
exposed.
·
The "brightness" of this episode, is the actual change from traditional cel animation to new CGI animation. EEnE was
the last show to give into this change. It is no longer completely cel painted, however, the backgrounds are still hand drawn.
The reason for this change is network television production overseas. There is no longer any animation station in the world
that has cel painting departments.
·
The lyrics to Rolf's song of Yeshmayek, Straight from the good folks of AKA inc.! Deep below the dirt and rocks There
lives the bearded maiden fair Whose kitchen pot is bigger than Her size of underwear….Hey! Yeshmiyek who peels the root
And grinds the sausage with her boot! Yeshmiyek who cures the meat And stuffs the fruits and sugared beets! Yeshmiyek who
salts the pork And stabs it with her silver fork! Yeshmiyek who cuts the cheese And gives the loaf of bread a squeeeeze! (Dramatic)
But should your chores be never done Your feeble arms too weak to toil Yeshmiyek will surely come… And throw you in
the pot to boil!… Yeshmiyek who smokes the fish And lays a slab on every dish! Yeshmiyek who guts the hare And seasons
it with special care! (pause) Eddy Interruption Yeshmiyek who bastes the lamb And spits the glaze on every ham! Yeshmiyek
who bakes the strudel Pickles feet and strings the noodle… Thanks, AKA!
·
At the end of the episode, everyone is singing a carol except for Rolf, who cannot read (you can see he was looking
at the carol book weirdly)
·
Since Santa is an adult, this is the first appearance of an adult
·
second time a song other than the credits song has played during the credits.
·
This is actually the second time an episode hasn't taken place in summer, because "Fool on the Ed" took place in spring
(April Fool's Day).
·
On Rolf's door, there is a word on there, "Vorlik". Is that the family name? |
|
Valentine's
Day Special (working title) |
|
While
the Christmas special 'Jingle Jingle Jangle' focused on Eddy, this time around it's Double D's love-life in the 'Hanky Panky'
spotlight for the plot of course, as the title suggests, revolves around that most romantic day of the year St Valentines.
Naturally for the Eds, the course of true love never stands a chance of running smoothly.
It's a school day
for starters and as if that wasn't enough to be going on with, as big Ed prepares himself for the inevitable kissing spree
courtesy of May Kanker, out-to-make-a-mint Eddy's inventive mind is striving to convert soft 'n squishy romance into cold
hard cash. Romantic Double D meanwhile, is the only one of the trio who really sees the day for what it's all about, that
precious chance to let someone special really know you care about them.
Unfortunately Edd's romantic hearts n flowers
notions are just too juicy a target for a couple of meddling imps like Sarah and Jimmy who are out to rock Cupid's love boat
by bringing together the unlikely pairing not of Ed and May but May and Double D.
Once Edd and May have been bitten
by the lovebug it seems that nothing on earth can pull them apart. It's just not natural and it looks as though it's up to
Eddy and Ed to take drastic measures and throw a couple of thorns in the path of their blossoming love.

NOTE:
Nazz will likely play an important part in this special. It might be similar to "Boys will be Eds".
·
This episode is called "Ed, Edd, n' Eddy in Hanky Panky Hullabaloo".
·
This special takes place in their school.
·
second episode that doesn't take place in the summer, the first was the Christmas special.
·
If the commercial serves right, Edd will fall in love with May Kanker.
·
In the commercial, Nazz is giving a card to Kevin. More than a hint of her liking him back.
·
In the commercial Rolf seems to hate Valentine's Day and hate love in general, apparently. He even opens the cafeteria
doors like a garage door in rage at one point!
·
The AD for this show can be found at www.los3eds.com under latest news and then under 'Share the Love! See the Ad!'

Jonny and Plank will most likely not have a major part, unless there is a twist or suprise ending involving them.
·
Jonny will most likely not have a major part, unless there is a twist or suprise ending involving him and Plank
·
We learn that the Eds are actually high school students
·
The Eds attend Peach Creek
High School.
·
Eddy's locker number is 204.
·
It's clear that this special was made in a rush seeing from the bad lipsinking.
·
This is the FIRST EVER(though hopefully not last) episode that we see the Eds in school. We also find out they're in
high school.
·
When the kids are in science class Maria and Lee Kanker are looking at an Anatomy book and laughing do they are probably
looking at buff naked guys.
·
Notice the list of artists' names on the chalkboard during art class: the list includes Avery (a reference to famous
animator Fred "Tex" Avery) and Antonucci (referring, of
course, to Danny Antonucci, creator of "Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy").
·
Edd still loves May on the inside even after Sarah and Jimmy's powers are broken!!!! It is proven after he sees his
hidden valentine, smiles, and puts it back in his hat.
·
Here were the pairings when the kids were hit by Cupid's arrow. Edd & May Kanker Kevin & Lee Kanker Jonny &
Nazz Ed & a sandwich Eddy & Plank Rolf (if he was to be hit by cupid's arrow) & Marie Kanker
·
Eddy's locker number is 204
·
Edd falls in love with May, Kevin falls in love with lee, Nazz falls in love with Johnny, Ed falls in love with a sanwhich,
and Eddy falls in love with Plank! Rolf is the one that saves the day.
·
Kevin does extra work in the school (like a gym teacher and hall monter) for extra credit.
·
Running Gags: Ed keeps saying something close to "Mushy lovey girls" and the paper sacks with drawings on them
·
This episode of "Ed, Edd, n' Eddy" is set to take place in 1972.
·
Ed and Eddy say quotes that the Eds have said throughout the series. Eddy yells out "Ed Germs!" and Double Dee yelled
that out when Ed breathed into him. There are also other quotes too like "Every man for himself!" and "Pig belly!"
·
How the Eds get detention in order and why ... 1. Eddy for making a "Kiss the Hunk" stall. 2. Edd for "standing up"
for Eddy 3. Ed for swinging around the gym.
·
Nazz gives Kevin a Valentine's Day card, showing that she likes him and they exchange comments (ex- rightous, awesome).
Another element that reinforces this notion is that Rolf mentions what happened to Double Dee and May Kanker (they fell in
love), and says "Lest you be next," which shows that he notices that they are hitting on each other, therefore, falling in
love.
·
Quote : "Nazz will likely play an important part in this special. It might be similar to "Boys will be Eds"." Noting
like this happened just to note.
·
While in love, May and Edd gave each other nicknames. Turtle Dove(May). Lamb Chop(Edd).
·
Ed Edd and Eddy's school mascot is the Peach Creek Cobbler.
·
The inside of everybodys locker shows the persons personality, and is similar to their own room, for example Ed's locker
is full of garbage, Edd's locker is neat and organized, and Eddy's locker is egoistic and has tacky decorations. Other examples
are the Kanker sisters' lockers, which are dark, dirty, and have things like tires and car axels
·
This is not the only episode to take place in the school, there are others, such as Mission Ed Possible.
·
This epsiode was obviously rushed, as it uses horrible voice/sound overs, and many old phrases are used, the designs
and animations seem slightly rushed as well. I hardly consider this a true Ed Edd n Eddy episode.
·
Despite claims that the episode took place in 1972 because of a banner in the gym, there's also the "Love: Exciting
and New!" poster which references The Love Boat. That show didn't come out until the *late* 70's and since a banner is considered
evidence enough to "prove" when the series takes place, then why shouldn't a poster? The point is, there still isn't a definite
time frame.
·
This episode marks the third time we see Lee's eyes. When the Eds and Kankers were fighting, Eddy bites Lee's leg and
she exposes her eyes.
·
Ed has different designs on his paper bag.The desingns are: A wierd face, a cyclops,a person picking his nose,a person
fishing, and a duck. |
